The Team
I set up Jurassic Coast Swimming after doing an epic 75km swim from Lulworth Cove, Dorset to Seaton in Devon. I swam this iconic coastline over 4 days with just myself and a kayaker for support. We slept on beaches under the stars and in isolated campsites, carried all our kit with us, ate simply and fell in love with the lifestyle. From this the seed of Jurassic Coast Swimming was born. How wonderful would it be to take others on mini adventures like this? I now successfully run guided swims, swim weekends, winter locations swims and of course weekly coaching sessions year round.
Hi and welcome to Jurassic Coast Swimming.
I am Fay and the owner and founder of Jurassic Coast Swimming. I am an open water swimming coach, swim teacher and SLSGB lifeguard and trainer assessor.
My safety crew is an integral part of the swims that we run and each and every member is qualified as a lifeguard, kayak support crew or aquatic first aid. Your safety is the most important factor to us and we never take any unnecessary risks. All the crew are experienced swimmers/kayakers and there to help you in any way they can. New this year I have trained up some of my regular swimmers as lifeguards, so they have the advantage of having done the majority of the swims already. The safety crew consists of kayakers, beach lifeguards, paddle boarders and swim masters, who will swim with you.
